Made-to-order in a small workshop within the Greater Austin Area of Texas, the Modugno X2-S Pro: Renegade edition is made with a midnight black paintjob and epoxy resin design. The epoxy resin design is located on the front of the guitar's body and was made to blend in with the rest of the guitar. The name and many design elements of this guitar was based off of Modugno Guitars' 5th limited edition guitar, "Renegade". Chrome and blackout versions of this guitar are available for you to choose from. The LED lights in the guitar's pickups are optional and can be customized from a variety of 5 different color choices.
The LED lights and Fishman Fluence active pickups installed into the Modugno X2-S Pro: Renegade can be conveniently recharged with the charging mount on the back of the guitar, so there's no need to hassle with switching out any of the batteries. The LEDs and active pickups each have their own designated battery supply, so in case the LEDs go out while you're playing, you'll still have fully functioning pickups. The LEDs can last around 5 hours per charge, and the active pickups can last anywhere from 100-160 hours on a single charge. The lithium-ion batteries installed in the Modugno X2-S Pro: Renegade are ethically made by EBL who don't source the cobalt used in their batteries from the cobalt mines that violate human rights in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Modugno X2-S Pro: Renegade is installed with premium parts including Japanese precision-made Gotoh Magnum Lock-Trad Tuners, and a Wilkinson by Gotoh VSVG Tremolo Bridge. The use of these parts in tandem does an excellent job at maintaining tuning stability. Additionally, the Fishman Fluence active pickups are all-American-made and include not just one, but two push/pull potentiometer switch modifications. These switch modifications allow you to get an incredible variety of tones out of the pickups.
The switch modification located in the volume knob position allows you to seamlessly get the best of both worlds with single coil and humbucker pickup tones. Pulling on this knob activates the single coil tone in the neck pickup, while leaving it recessed activates the neck pickup's humbucker tone. Pulling on the other switch modification located in the tone knob position activates the bridge pickup's second voice. Leaving the tone knob recessed will activate the first voice. With a massive variety of tone options to choose from, you're bound to find the right sound you're looking for.
If all that wasn't already enough, the Modugno X2-S Pro: Renegade also sports a real carbon fiber pickguard, has an exposed wood design from the exotic okoume tree that grows natively across the world on the west coast of central Africa, and a thin maple neck that's made with real mother of pearl shell inlay dots that are inlaid into an ebonol fretboard. The fretboard is made from modern materials and requires absolutely no oiling maintenance, won't crack or warp from exposure to frequent temperature and humidity fluctuations, and is superior at helping keep the neck straight.
The Modugno X2-S Pro: Renegade is an outstanding electric guitar that is truly one-of-a-kind.
